Feast of the Month

Who doesn't like a good feast once in awhile? W Gossip Girl sure knows she does, along with all the talents here @ W Retreat Koh Samui.

Spotted on November 30th, 2010. W Talents getting full up on Kanomjeen, Steamed Pork & Chicken, Sukiyaki and the totally awesome Snowy Ice. To thank the talents for their hard work during the first month of opening, the SLT team (just a few) decided it was a good idea to up-lift the talents with a special and surprise lunch. Few, in this case, was the HR team and K.Coetzer (GM) . . .

The Green Room filled up with hungry talents faster than you can say " Supercalifragilisticespialagoious"

W Celebration

W Gossip Girl Here,

With the almost OPEN HOT of W Retreat, a little celebration was organized to thank all the talents for all their hard work during the pre-opening period.

The theme: COLORFUL
The Location: W Lounge

Crazy we were, all talents let go and just had fun together, a chance that many of us know will from now on only happen once a year during the Talent Party, so no guards were put up, all let loose and just went with everything that happened.

Overall, the party was a success with so little time to prepare, who would have thought it would have looked like it's been planned for months.

W Brand Emersion

October 1st, 2010

W Gossip Girl here updating you on the busiest month for our W Talents.

Spotted all Talents called for a meeting under the name "Brand emersion". Where Talents were given the task to create a designing company and bid to build our W Retreat. Talents were divided into 3 groups and competed against eachother for the win. Each team was given a theme that was to represent the hotel which were Flirt, Insider, Escape.

After a steamy and hot presentation from each group.... it was revealed by our lovely GM, K.Coetzer that all 3 teams have won because without the 3 teams we cannot be W and live by its core value of Flirt, Insider, Escape.

Pictures yet again speak louder than words and this W Gossip Girl is busy busy busy! "Too-da-loo" my fellow followers, Until next time...

Is It Squeaky Clean?

W GG here bringing you the latest update of what's happening on the edge of wonderland.

Spotted at 3 PM, a group of W Talents cleaning the Edge of Wonderland in preparation for the photoshooting of W Retreat Koh Samui's very first Wedding to be happening in January 2011.

How HOT were the talents? How clean was the beach? All i have to say is " Feast your eyes upon the hard work of W Talents"

Football Match

Last Saturday . . . 4/8/10

W's unofficial football team had it's first friendly football game with Centara (Suan-Pee-Sue สวนผีเสื้อ)

Spotted on the football field were Centara staff's late for their football game. Could you say punctuality. . . NONE! Poor W, next time Centara wants a friendly game we better make the appointment and have they come to our side of the island.

Don't worry boys, though we lost 3-1, we still played a great game. Next time we'll just have to practice more and we'll definately beat them in no time!

So let's get our gear on and get ready for the next game ...where? - you'll never know...when? - when the time is right... with who? - that's for me to figure out

Mr. and Ms. WOW 2010

W Gossip girl here, bringing you the inside scoop of our Mr. and Ms. WOW 2010 contest.

It happened on a sunny friday afternoon. . . talents were united at 14.00 hours at our Great Room to witness WKS's first M&M contest. Contestants came from every department, the scores were given from the talent performance and questions by our respecting judges, and the popular vote came from the overwhelmed joy of the Talents cheering their friends and well some foes ?

As MOI once said . . . pictures speak louder than words and W Gossip girl still lives by that concept . . . so without further ado . . .
